POLITICAL ASSOCIATION :
* I have participated in many AICC (1) Sessions, raining Camps and Youth Congress rallies.
* I was Convener for Goa Pradesh Youth Congress for conducting “PADAYATRA” held on 21 - 04 - 2002 from Canacona (Goa South) to Periim (Goa North), which
covered more than 150 KM within seven days for the Assembly Elections.
* I have organized many Blood Donation Camps, Health Camps. National Integration Rallies, Protest Rallies. Dharanas, Vanmohotsava and District Level Congress
Rallies.

MY FAMILY BACKGROUND
Basically, I belong to Yavagal in Gadag District. My father Late Sri. Shanmukappa Gurappa Mensinkai, while educating himself in Hubli fell under the Gandhiji’s influence and jumped into freedom movement. Then became famous in active politics as a senior Congress Leader. He was very close to Late Sri S. Nijalingappa and Late Sri. Veerendra Patil then.
In 1962, Smt. Indira Gandhi had arrived for the inaugural function of Malaprabha Dam in Belagavi District. In this function Tulabhar of Smt. Indira Gandhi was organized by Sri. S. Nijalingappa then CM Of Karnataka my father was also present in the function.
In 1989-90 a large congregation of North Karnataka Lingayat community was organized in Indira Glass House at Hubli and the President of K.P.C.C Late Sri. Veerendra Patil was invited as a Chief Guest. My father was highly praised by all the congress Leaders present there for his invaluable organizing capacity of such a big function when as a party worker he was doing such loyal faithful honest and sincere service to the congress party without expecting any post Authority etc., he expired suddenly due to Heart Attack in 1990

STRUGGLE AND ACHIEVEMENTS:
* A Case against “Uma Bharati” has been filed in the Session Court at Hubli case was filed by our organization of Karnataka Kamu Souhardhata Vedika.
* Counter demonstration was done against the demonstration made by VHP Bajarangdal, Sangh Parivar against the site pertaining to Fateshavali Darga (Old Hubli,
Dharwad District).
* The proposed formation of South Western Railway Zone at Bangalore was shifted to Hubli by our efforts along with Sri Nadoj Patil Puttappaji & others in stopping the
trains by 18 hours it’s a historical record in railways.
* By Constant and regular struggle demonstration for establishing the “High Court Peeth” in Hubli it was possible to establish Circuit Bench of the High Court in
Dharwad.
* In order to arrange relief to the formers who suffered heavy loss due to take cotton seeds by name “Chamatkar Seeds” demonstration in the form of “Block up the
roads etc were organized as a result of which arrangement were made to pay the formers some relief by “MICO Co.,” at Rs. 1250/- per acre of land to make good the
loss.
* Demanding support price for Onions by Government 13 days continuous struggle was organized in consequence of which state Government announced a Support
Price for “Onions” during 2008-09.
* In connection which involvement of Sri Kumarswamy. Former Chief Minister of Karnataka in corruption “Mine Scam’ of 150 Crores Rupees demonstration & burning
of
effigy of Kumarswamy was arranged on behalf of Youth Congress urging for desolations of the Government.
* This was a victory of the joint struggle organized by the Leaders of Farmers and ours. For the upliftment of the mass vigorous struggle was under taken and
completed successfully from all side receiving appreciation from the Public.
* In 2008-09: At the holy shrine of Kudalasangama under the Lingayat (Panchamsali) state Youth Forum, I was instrumental in organizing lakhs of people to
participate in the Lingayat Community conference under my leadership.
* Elected Member (2010-11) for APMC (Agriculture Produce Market Corporation) Elections as the farmer’s representative and won the elections with an undisputed
record breaking victory.
* As the General Secretary of Ashraya Niwasigala Sangha, formed at the District Level, organized and formed the union with continuously agitating against the BJP
Government, and as a result the Government’s interest on loan (Sala Manna) and rejected 1154 Crores as interest.
* In order to arrange compensation relief to the farmers who suffered heavy loss due to sowing of cotton seeds by name “Chamatkar Seeds” , demonstrations were
organized in the form of “Block up the roads” etc., as a result of which arrangements were made to pay compensation to the farmers by “MAHYCO SEED Co.,” at
Rs.1250/- per acre.
* Gherao to Belgaum Suvarna Vidhan Souda on 7-12-2012 under the leadership of Karnataka State Youth Forum of Lingayat Panchamsali Samaj. There was strong
demand to include 17 sub castes of lingayat away to come under 2(a) of the reserved community and it was recommended by Jagadguru Panchasali Peeth, Kudal
Sangam after agitation there more than 25,000 people have participated.
* 2020-21 Delhi Chalo along with farmers had launched an intensive agitation against the draconian farm law enacted by the BJP -led central government, I also visited
Delhi to participate in the farmer’s agitation against the bad farm laws.
* CAA/ NRC, I proud to take credit for a crucial protest organized against the CAA-NRP-NRC, I had convinced all permanent religious heads, specially from the
lingayat community to participate in the month long protests’, thousands of members of minority communities also participated in the protest.
* COVID Pandemic, I dared to venture out to extend a helping hand to the laborers and the needy people when the Covid pandemic had reached its peak, I along with
my supporters identified the most affected areas and people and ensured that they got ration and essential material kit that helped the helpless people sustain for
some months.
